Athletics at Concordia Academy help the body develop, sharpen the mind, and nurture the spirit. Discipline, teamwork, commitment, victory, and even defeat provide rich opportunities to cultivate strong character in athletes, and the CA athletic department’s commitment to this cultivation of character is equaled only by the goal of fully developing the athletic talents of each student.
CA offers a wide range of co-curricular athletic options for students during fall, winter, and spring, and many of those sports offer multiple squad levels. CA competes as part of the new Skyline Conference.
Our Athletic Hall of Fame honors outstanding Beacon athletes from the last 125 years, with new member inducted in the fall of each year.
At CA, we believe that excellence in athletics honors God and blesses athletes, whether through hard work in a practice or on the court in a state tournament championship game.
From the Athletic Director
Welcome to Concordia Academy! Our athletic department is committed to providing an athletic experience that strives to honor God in all that we do. We strive to live, work, and play in Christian community, becoming better than we once were.
During my time as a Beacon, I was a three sport athlete participating in football, basketball, and baseball. I was surrounded by coaches who taught me the value of hard work and the desire to compete. They also taught me the importance of investing the talents that God had given me. I was surrounded by great teammates who worked hard to compete at a high level. Many of them went on to have outstanding athletic experience in college, and I enjoyed following their careers. More importantly, these teammates were committed to being a part of something much bigger than themselves and spurring each other toward constant improvement. The Concordia Academy Athletic community helped shape my life.
CA Athletics was a tremendous blessing in my life. I am humbled that God surrounded me with such outstanding men and women of God who helped direct me in such a formative time in my life. I see the same experiences play out everyday on our fields and courts for our current athletes on our fields.
