From the Principal

Even more than academic success, college prospects, or popularity contests, I believe that parents want to truly believe their child will get the personal attention and instruction they deserve in high school.

So, as you’re looking at high schools, here’s some good news: you don’t need to choose between genuine Christian mentoring and care or academic excellence at Concordia Academy. You can get both here. That’s part of how we’ve built a trustworthy, 128-year-old school reputation for shaping confident, Christian, eminently-capable graduates. And that’s also how we inspire students…and parents, too.

There are other reasons for that reputation, too. An exciting curriculum structure with high school and college opportunities you won’t find elsewhere. Remarkable fine arts offerings. Athletic experiences that only become more significant later in life. A spiritual life on campus that instills a durable, genuine faith. Not to mention a tuition rate with unique assistance options that make it affordable for almost anyone who wants to be a part of this community we’ve been building for well over a century.

Every day, a commitment to excellence fills our campus at Concordia Academy. And that, in turn, is inspiring. Excellence that inspires. Isn’t that what you want in a high school?

See for yourself. Spend some time exploring our website, and then schedule your tour or Shadow Day at Concordia Academy. We can’t wait to welcome you to our school home.

History

Concordia Academy originated in 1893 as the high school of Concordia College (now Concordia University), St. Paul. In 1967, the Academy merged with St. Paul Lutheran High School, which had originated in 1959. The two schools merged as Concordia Academy at the current site of 2400 North Dale St. in Roseville, MN. Since then, three additional building campaigns have expanded the original building into the beautiful private high school campus enjoyed today.

Since its inception, Concordia Academy has been affiliated with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and is supported by association churches and schools. However, students come to CA from dozens of churches and schools throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

Concordia Academy has advanced, grown, and changed over the last century, but its commitment to Honoring God Through Excellence has remained consistent. We celebrated our 125th Anniversary in 2018-2019.
