Fine Arts Patron Program

We are all created in the image of The Master Artist. The fine arts, in their vast and dazzling array of creative expression, proves this reality.
Understanding the importance of the arts, Concordia Academy is committed to offering a world-class fine arts education, including three choirs, a band, an orchestra, more than ten visual arts classes (both high school and college level), two annual co-curricular productions, a dance team, and worship teams. Arts-centric spaces include a beautiful theatre, a dance studio, a conservatory, an art studio, our music room, and music practice spaces. In addition, our ICE Lab (Imagine, Create, and Explore) is an industrial tech makerspace that allows our visual art students to explore high-tech design and construction.
Our fine arts programs are deservedly honored with multiple awards and recognitions each year. In recent years, we have received multiple “superior” awards in the state music competition, high honors in theater from the Hennepin Arts Spotlight Awards competition, and multiple awards and honors in regional, state, national, and private competitions for our visual artists. We attribute this consistent success to our students’ talent and passion and the variety and quality present in our fine arts program.
CA’s numerous fine arts programs converge in our award-winning Emerging Artist Cohort program. This cohort allows students to take a deep dive into their given areas of passion. Requirements include our highest-level arts classes, cohort readings and discussions, an arts-based internship, and a senior capstone project (either an exhibit or public performance).
Of course, supporting such an outstanding arts program requires a significant commitment of resources, including financial resources. Our new Fine Arts Patron Program is designed to ensure that CA both maintains and improves its world-class program. Annual donations from Fine Arts Patrons will go directly towards “what’s needed most,” as determined by our fine arts staff. What is currently needed most is a new front curtain for the auditorium (which cannot be used in its current condition) and new risers for our choirs (to replace the current 1960s-era risers). The total cost for these improvements is $25,000.
We are delighted to share that, in this inaugural year of our Fine Arts Patron Program, a generous donor has offered to match the first $6,000 raised by Patron sponsors!
Patron sponsorship levels include:
All Patrons will receive a beautiful Concordia Academy Fine Arts Patron pin. We encourage Fine Arts Patrons to wear this pin at all CA fine arts events. Patrons will also be listed in playbills, programs, and on our website (unless you wish to opt out).
Thank you for becoming a CA Fine Arts Patron! Your partnership ensures that CA can maintain and build its world-class Fine Arts program that inspires, trains, and encourages a generation of artists who honor the Master Artist through their creative work.

The CA Fine Arts Patron Program Logo
We are all created in the image of The Master Artist. The fine arts, in its wide and dazzling array of creative expression, proves this reality. The various richly-colored bars of this icon suggest the deep range of the arts: vocal music, instrumental music, visual art, dance, theater, and creative writing are just a few artistic expressions. Though the bars are separate shapes, they merge to form an asterisk, or a star, with an additional subtle star shape where the color bars intersect. Just as an asterisk in writing is a sign that there is more to learn elsewhere, the fine arts ultimately point to the deeper truths of creation and the infinite beauty of our God.
