CHIRP-360

At Concordia Academy, we continually seek ways to care for and protect the community God has entrusted to us. Providing a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment is foundational to our mission, and we are always looking for thoughtful ways to strengthen that commitment.
With that in mind, we are implementing CHIRP-360, a 24/7 incident reporting system designed to enhance campus safety through proactive awareness and communication. This resource provides our community with a secure and confidential way to share concerns, helping us identify and address potential safety issues before they escalate.
It is important to emphasize that CHIRP-360 is not intended to single out or target students. Rather, it is a positive step forward in strengthening our overall campus security, focused on care, prevention, and shared responsibility. By equipping our community with an additional layer of support, we are better able to look out for one another and respond wisely to concerns as they arise.
We are grateful for the partnership we share with you in fostering a community where students feel safe, known, and supported. CHIRP-360 is simply one more way we live out that commitment together.
Please see below for more information about how this program works.
CHIRP-360 is a specialized incident reporting service provided by 360 Security Services (360). This platform allows for the secure collection of information related to incidents that may impact key areas of our school community. Reports are carefully reviewed and evaluated by experienced professionals who work to identify potential risks, develop proactive mitigation strategies, and, when necessary, conduct investigations.
At Concordia Academy, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and Christ-centered environment for all students and families. CHIRP-360 serves as one way we care for one another by providing a secure avenue to share concerns, report suspicious activity, or communicate important safety-related information.
In any life-threatening or emergency situation, please call 911 immediately before submitting a report.
360 operates through three primary areas of focus, which includes Protection, Intelligence, and Investigations. These work together in a continuous cycle to strengthen safety efforts at Concordia Academy. Through this process, risks are evaluated across five key asset categories, known as the “CHIRP” model:
- Cyber
- Human
- Information
- Reputation
- Physical
These areas represent where vulnerabilities may exist and where thoughtful, proactive protection is essential. 360 takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to security that is tailored to the unique needs, resources, and daily operations of Concordia Academy.
CHIRP-360 is designed as a community-centered resource. Reports may be submitted anonymously, and access to the reporting link is available on the Concordia Academy website. While anyone may submit a concern, this tool is primarily intended for adults and students who are closely connected to the CA community.
Situations appropriate for CHIRP-360 reporting may include, but are not limited to:
CHIRP-360 is not a replacement for biblical conflict resolution, direct communication with teachers or administrators, or the important partnership between school and home. Rather, it is a proactive safety measure intended to help address potential concerns before they escalate.
- Non-emergency personal threats or concerns regarding self-harm
- Unfamiliar individuals lingering on school property
- A vehicle remaining in the parking lot for an extended period
- Unmarked or suspicious packages discovered on campus
- Signs of tampering with security features (locks, doors, fencing, etc.)
- Non-life threatening observed acts of violence
Please use this secure reporting link to submit a concern.
