Value

We have begun our 3rd unit: Value (study of light and shadow). Right now the students are working on a graphite Value Scale. When finished, they will be doing a piece using Scratchboard. Students, remember to find and bring in a black and white picture to work from. Pick something that has a lot of surface texture to it (a fuzzy or furry animal, an old building, etc.).
