NO SCHOOL
There is no school on Monday, February 20th in honor of Presidents Day.
RE-ENROLLMENT FORMS
We are currently re-enrolling students for next year. We are pleased to share with you that we are partnering with a company called TADS in order to simplify the process. You should have already received two emails from TADS providing you with a link to our online application. If you have not received an email from TADS please contact Marilyn Mick at marilyn.mick@concordiaacademy.com.
To help in our planning for next year, we ask that our families complete the re-enrollment application and pay the $100 registration fee by February 29th. Please note that the registration fee increases to $150 on March 1st.
STUDENTS BECOMING ILL DURING SCHOOL
If your student becomes sick at school, they should come to the office to have someone call you. The office must speak to you before we can allow the student to leave school during the day. If you do not speak to someone in the office on the phone, you will need to come in when you pick up. In addition, the student must sign out before leaving.
CONCERT CHOIR
Sunday, February 26th, we will be participating in the School Choral Festival at Concordia University. This is an annual event involving the Concordia University choir and three invited high school choirs. Each choir will sing three pieces individually and then the mass choir will sing two pieces together. The concert begins at 7:30 pm and is free and open to the public. It will be held in Graebner Memorial Chapel on the university campus. For directions, see http://www.csp.edu/visit-concordia/campus-maps/.
Attire for the event is formal black/white with concert robes. Students should arrive at the chapel by 5:30 pm. We start with a mass rehearsal and then there will be a supper break so please bring a “bag supper”.
YEARBOOK PICTURES
There are a few seniors who still need to hand in baby and senior pictures, please email them to capicks@hotmail.com or give them to Amanda Stedje. These need to be turned in so they can be included in the yearbook.
SAVE THE DATE
Concordia Academy will be hosting the 2012 Tri-Metro Weight Lifting Competition on Friday, March 9th. The sign-in/warm-up is from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm and the competition will start at 7:00 pm. This is open for both boys and girls.

Anyone 18 yrs. old or older can work, including college students. We need all the workers we can get this year.
Training is required and training sessions are happening throughout this month. So now is the time to get started. For more information and/or to get signed up, contact Dave Preble at dgpreble@usfamily.net or 651-628-3277.

BIBLE VERSE AND PRAYER
“Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” Col 3:12-14
God of Love, help us to be more like You in the way we treat each other. We desire to love one another and live in peace. Show us how to be merciful, kind, humble, gentle and patient as we go about our week. Teach us. Amen!
