The Birds, written by Aristophanes in 414 B.C. (and arranged for the stage by Walter Kerr), follows a group that leaves Athens, fed up with the frauds and bores of that society, in an effort to create a better society among the birds. To do so, they must first locate Epops, King of the Birds, who was once a man like themselves and who might understand both sides of the problem. Clever, funny, satyrical, absurd, and thought-provoking, The Birds promises to be a great evening of classic Greek theatre! Performances are 7:00 pm on November 18 and 19 and 2:00 pm on November 20. Tickets, available at the door, are $8 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens.  CA students receive a free ticket.

Former CA volleyball players are invited to participate in an Alumni Volleyball Game on Saturday, November 26. Doors open at 9:30 am, and the game starts at 10:00 am.
